Fighters of the militia units that do not transfer to the service in the People’s police and have not layed down weapons will be classified as members of illegal armed formations. This was announced today at a press conference at LuganskInformCenter by the head of the Investigative Department of the LPR Prosecutor General Leonid Tkachenko.

“Unit “Batman” ceased to exist, not because their activities were forbidden by law enforcement. It became a part of one of the units of the LPR People’s Police, where now a large part of the fighters is serving. Therefore, it had to obey the orders of the commander-in-chief of People’s police,”- he explained.

On the same day the Prosecutor’s office instructed the law enforcement agencies to detain fighters of the battalion and to ensure their appearance at the Prosecutor General’s office for questioning.
