The Russian Army drops another subtle hint.
The Russian Armed Forces recently underwent a series of readiness exercises. One of the units involved was the 15th Guards Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, normally stationed in Samara in the Central Military District. Except that, on the photographs from the readiness drills held by that unit published by Russian blogger nortwolf_sam, it is evident that many of the soldiers are wearing patches signifying they are…peacekeeping troops. That’s what the patch on the soldier’s sleeve on the photo above shows, and what the Cyrillic letters “MC” on the helmet below stand for. Given that Poroshenko has been insistent “peacekeeping troops” are sent to the Donbass, I’d say somebody is clearly volunteering for the task…
