Organization “Ukrainian Insurgent Army” (UPA) has claimed responsibility for the murder of Ukraine’s opposition journalist Oles Buzina and former Verkhovna Rada Deputy Oleg Kalashnikov, wrote on his Facebook page political analyst Vladimir Fesenko.
According to him, a letter in the Ukrainian language with the admission from the UPA came to his email.
As Fesenko wrote, “I received by email a letter with a statement from some “Ukrainian Insurgent Army”, in which it takes responsibility for the murders of Chechetov, Peklushenko, Melnik, Kalashnikov, Buzina”.
According to the political analyst, as evidence, the extremists of the UPA gave some details of high-profile killings in the letter, which were not previously reported. Thus, for the murder of Kalashnikov allegedly was used a weapon of calibre 7.65X17 and 9×18, and he managed to make a shot at the killers from his weapon.
“Information is very important, and I think that’s all that happened, given this warning should be taken seriously,” said Fesenko. “It’s really the beginning of a campaign to destabilize… Then followed statements with warnings and ultimatums, that they actually declare war on the leadership of the state. And internal war now is clear in whose interests.”
Meaning: the ultra-right radicals taking matters into their hands and accusing the state for being too flexible? It’s a fact that the Kiev regime is hated equally from the far left and the far right, and although Poroshenko tries hard to please the right, he is never “right” enough for them. For some segments of Ukrainian “active minority” only an invasion and complete victory over Crimea, Donbass, and some Russian lands in Cuban could be satisfactory, while completely sweeping the opposing field UPA style.
On the other hand it could be an attempt to shift responsibility away from the junta.
