“May 2, 2014 was a historic day for Odessa. Odessans bravely repulsed Kremlin gangs and their local leaders, thus protecting the city from the arrival of the “Russian world”. This day was decisive in months-long stand off between the members of Odessa “Maidan” and the anti-government and staunchly pro-Moscow “AntiMaidan”. It culminated in Ukrainian victory and the beginning of a new page in the history of the city” — informed the press-service of “Svoboda” party.

“Svoboda” announced that May 2 should become a citywide “day of victory over the Kremlin terrorist groups, the day of purification from the Kremlin infection”.

“This day is a proud page in the history of the city” — assured “Svoboda” members.
