Ukraine’s debt has reached 100% of GDP

The chairman of the faction of the “Opposition bloc” in the Verkhovna Rada, Yuriy Boyko, said that Ukraine’s public debt amounted to 1 trillion UAH and, thus, became equal to the GDP of the country, reports TASS.

“Last year, the national debt has tripled. This is really a big problem that the government does not want to see, ” – said Boyko. — In fact, the government is surviving only on loans in the recent past the authorities have already taken a loan in the amount of $12 billion”
