Scheduled for Wednesday joint exercises of paratroopers of the U.S. army and Estonian paramilitary militia “Kaitseliit” (“Defence Union”) were postponed due to rainy and windy weather, reported the press service of “Kaitseliit”.
It is expected that the exercises will be held on Thursday. During practice the skills of jumping with a parachute from a helicopter Black Hawk UH60 will be perfected. The exercises will be attended by 80 soldiers from the “Destined” company of the second battalion, 503rd infantry regiment, 173rd airborne brigade of the U.S. army and 30 members of “Kaitseliit”.
“If we can all work together to conduct this operation, it will strengthen our collaboration and cooperation in Europe as a whole”, — said the commander of “Destined” company captain Matthew McCarthy.
If they can, it will. And if they can’t?
