“NATO was the main organizer of the massacre in Serbia, as it is now at work in Ukraine. It is an international organization, successor of Nazism,” said the Metropolitan of Montenegro, Amfilohije Radović, as reported in Balkan Periscope.

His Eminence spoke against NATO from the village Milosevitsi in Montenegro, which honors St. Procopius.

The article notes that Metropolitan Amfilohije will head the Serbian Church delegation for talks with the schismatic church of Skopje.

Also in his homily he accused the North Atlantic Alliance of “fratricidal wars that oppress the world.”

“Remember in 1943 when he was the German occupation. Violence and massacres. In the same way Hitler and Mussolini acted, so NATO acted in Kosovo,” said Metropolitan Amfilohije.

From the NATO mission statement

NATO is committed to the peaceful resolution of disputes. If diplomatic efforts fail, it has the military capacity needed to undertake crisis-management operations. These are carried out under Article 5 of the Washington Treaty – NATO’s founding treaty – or under a UN mandate, alone or in cooperation with other countries and international organizations.

“Peaceful resolution of disputes,” or “Crisis management operations” !  Euphemism for war, air strikes, invasions. Again and again, this observer is reminded of Tacitus’ famous line “They make a desert and call it peace.”
