Ivano-Frankovsk witnessed the funeral of Yevhen Kutsyk, the leader of the Brothernood of the First Ukrainian Division of the Ukrainian National Army, which is how they refer to the Waffen-SS Division Galizien which was destroyed by the Red Army at Brody.

Attendees included Rada Deputy Yuriy Shukhevych, the son of the last UPA commander Roman Shukhevych, and the living SS veterans and their contemporary acolytes from Tyagnibok’s Freedom Legion which is currently fighting on the Donbass.

Here’s Kutsyk before his death. Close to the end of his days, but still regularly comes to the funerals of his “brothers.”

Formally the current Ukrainian legislature bans the “propaganda of Nazi and Soviet totalitarian regimes” does not allow for the participants of the burial ceremony to be punished. The Rada eliminated the paragraph banning the glorification of the Wehrmacht and the Waffen SS from the Criminal Code.

So this is how they plan to enter Europe?
