Ministry of Defence calls armies of NATO countries for an open and fair competition in terms of Army International Games. Such appeal to Western neighbor was made today by Deputy Head of defense institute Anatoliy Antonov at the press-conference devoted to Army International Games which will start on August 1st. At the present games there would be 17 countries of the world, but there are no representatives of North-Atlantic alliance. According to the words of Antonov, he hopes that NATO will also dare for open competitions.
57 teams will take part in Army International Games, most of them – foreign. In 14 contests all over the country there would be soldiers of all kinds and branches from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzia, Serbia, Venezuela, India, Kuwait, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Egypt, Angola competing with Russian soldiers.
