“Russia, Iran, and Syria have created a headquarters in Iraq for coordinating the fight against ISIS – American media”

A few days ago, Russia, Iran, and Syria created a headquarters in Baghdad for coordinating the fight with ISIS, the American TV channel Fox News reports.

As intelligence sources of Western countries say, the coordinating staff includes a number of Russian generals.

US officials reported that it is not clear at the moment if the government of Iraq is involved in this structure.

Speaking of the appearance of Russian servicemen in Baghdad, a senior US official said that “they are appearing everywhere.”

On September 24, Bloomberg reported that Russia is ready to start a unilateral military operation against fighters of the terrorist organization ISIS in Syria if the US rejected the proposal of the Russian Federation to join the international coalition. In turn, the US wants to discuss the coordination of airstrikes in Syria with the Russian side in order to avoid any incidents with the Russian air force.

We recall that two weeks ago, “Russian Spring” reported that Russia, together with Iran, is planning to build refugee camps in Syria, and their protection and defense will be carried out by a joint contingent of Russian and Iranian troops. China is also planning to join this initiative.
