UAZ crawler Uhtysh

ZVM-2410 “Ukhtysh” is a modification of the SUV UAZ Hunter. The main difference from a wheeled “brother” is the tracks.

High passability of the all-terrain amphibious vehicle of the super-light class “Ukhtysh” is provided by its size-mass characteristics, the design of the track, waterproof bottom shell and its power. The average pressure of the amphibian rover’s full weight on the ground is 12.5 kPa (0,125 kg/cm2) which in the presence of tracks with a unilateral stiffness and developed ground hooks provide a positive reserve of traction when driving on snow up to 1 meter deep, and any type of wet ground and marsh with a depth of the organic layer up to 0.5 m. The hull design of the amphibious vehicle provides a positive, at least 25 % reserve of buoyancy and the angles of entry and exit of the machine afloat up to 20 %. The vehicle is also equipped with a bracket for mounting a winch.
