Maps and stats: Russia targets Raqqa, Aleppo, Damascus, Hama

Fortified communication
centers and command centers of the militants of the “Islamic state”
were the main targets of Russian Aerospace Force in Syria over the past day,
said the official representative of the Ministry of defense of Russia
major-General Igor Konashenkov. 

“The main targets in the past day were
command posts and communication centers of militants, warehouses of weapons,
ammunition, bases and terrorist training camps in Raqqa, Hama, Damascus and
Aleppo”, – quotes RIA “Novosti”. 

Konashenkov also said that  in Aleppo the Russian Aerospace forces
destroyed more than 10 vehicles, including 5 APC’s, 2 tanks of the IS

 “In the area of the settlement of Kvaiser, the province of
Aleppo, the Su-24M hit on the base with ISIS military equipment. As a result of
a direct hit more than 10 vehicles were destroyed, including 2 tanks and 5
infantry fighting vehicles. The fire started and the shelter with ISIS
equipment was completely destroyed,” – said Konashenkov.

Earlier on
Saturday, defense Ministry spokesman said that the airstrikes of the Russian Aerospace
Forces have greatly weakened the fighting capacity of the militants of the
“Islamic state” in Syria, including their ability to lead the
offensive. In recent days the aircraft of the Russian Aerospace forces in Syria
have destroyed the fortified area of the “Islamic state” terrorists
in Syria, which was equipped with gun emplacements, ammunition depots and food. 

We will remind you that on September 30, the aircraft of the Russian Aerospace forces
at the request of the President of Syria Bashar al-Assad began conducting air
operations with the application of precise strikes on ISIS positions. According
to the Ministry of defense and the aviation HQs of Russia from September 30 to
October 7 112 strikes to positions of terrorists have been  conducted. 

Targets were command and control centers,
communication centers, training camps of militants, factories for the
production of weapons, explosives, munitions and fuels and lubricants. In
addition, on 5 and 6 of October missile ships of the Caspian flotilla have
conducted 26 launches of cruise missiles on 11 targets in Syria, all targets
