According to the polls, “this level of job approval of the President of Russia is related in the first place, to the events in Syria, air strikes by Russian aircraft on the positions of terrorists (these events are called major for the last week, 26% of respondents)”.
According to VTSIOM, the positive evaluation of the Russian President for more than a year and a half has been above 80%.
“Putin’s approval rating began to grow in the spring of 2014 on the background of the reunification of Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia: in March 2014, he averaged 76,2, in April — 82,2, in May – 86.2” — said the study.
The poll was conducted October 17-18, among 1.6 thousand people in 130 populated localities in 46 regions, territories and republics of Russia. The statistical error does not exceed 3.5%.
