American Troops Land in Iraq To “Fight” ISIS

American troops have arrived in Iraq for their operation against the terrorists of the group prohibited in the Russian Federation, “Islamic State”. This was reported by TASS with reference to the channel “Al Jazeera”.

According to the agency, American special forces conducted a landing on the position held by ISIL in Salahuddin province in the North of Tikrit. It was emphasized that the actions of the American military were coordinated with local forces.

Prior to this, the USA was limited to landing in areas controlled by the terrorists, only in the North of the country in Iraqi Kurdistan.
