The former head of the Ukrainian organization “Right sector”, Dmitry Yarosh, has disappeared from the open database of the Interpol wanted list, TASS reported. Searching his name on the organization’s website does not provide results. A working hyperlink to a page about him leads to a blank page. Interpol has not commented on this information.

The Prosecutor General’s office sent to Interpol materials for the international tracing of Yarosh in April 2014. Dmitry Yarosh had resigned of the leader “Right sector” in November 2015 and announced the creation of a new nationalist organization.

Nationalists in “Right sector” participated in all the radical actions in Ukraine after the Maidan. In July 2015, fighters of “Right sector”, not dividing spheres of influence, started an internecine fight in the Transcarpathian city of Mukachevo, who then opened fire on the policemen, killing four people. In the fall of 2015 “Right sector” staged a food blockade of the Crimea. “Right sector” is a union of radical nationalist organizations of Ukraine. The organization is prohibited in the territory of the Russian Federation.
