The Secretary General of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries, Mohammad Hossein Adeli, at the meeting of the expert group of the Council on Foreign Relations of Iran, stated that natural gas will become part of a “golden age”. This was reported by Iranian news Agency Shana.
Also during his speech, Adeli called natural gas a “bright new star”, which would thrive and be in demand, despite all the current problems.
Adeli explained the situation today, attributing the rise of natural gas to the slowdown in the global economy, which, in his opinion, is still reeling from the economic crisis of 2007-2008.
Also today, according to the expert, the leading factors in the market are still the strengthening of the position of liquefied natural gas and the emergence of new large suppliers of natural gas.
Adele stated that by the year 2040, almost 80% of the energy demand worldwide will be met by fossil fuels. Also, according to him, during this time, the demand for natural gas will grow significantly.
