The capture was attended by 20 people, most of whom were wearing masks. Law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene.
The holiday house is owned by the wife of the leader of the public organization “kyrym birligi”, Seytumer Nimetullah. He told reporters that Islyamov was amongst the raiders.
“I called Islyamov. He also threatened me on the phone, saying that I supposedly sold out to Russia. But I did not sell out to anybody, I only act on his convictions. I’m here, in Crimea, with his people”, — said Nimetullah.
“Kyrym birligi” is one of the Crimean Tatar organizations in Crimea. It is an alternative “to the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people” and does not conform to oppositional trends. Its leader, Seytumer Nimetullah previously lived in Kiev, but after the coup he moved to Crimea.
