Holding company “Helicopters of Russia” (part of State Corporation rostec) will showcase their latest multi-purpose helicopters at the “Bahrain International Airshow – 2016” to be held from 21st to 23rd of January in Bahrain at the Sakhir airbase.

“The representatives of the holding company will not only present product lines and opportunities on the organization of after-sales services (PES) of production of “Helicopters of Russia”, but will hold talks with existing operators and potential customers of helicopters from countries of the near and Middle East and North Africa,” – stated the press release of “Helicopters of Russia”.

It clarifies that the fleet of Russian and Soviet helicopters in the Middle East is more than 500 civilian and military vehicles. Therefore, the possibility of maintenance and repair in the region will significantly reduce costs.

At the exhibition of “Helicopters in Russia” the following will be presented:

  • The latest multi-purpose helicopter of middle class, Mi-171A2, which combines the unique experience of operating helicopters Mi-8/17 and the latest technical solutions.

  • Light multipurpose helicopter “Ansat” with the largest-in-class passenger cabin, designed to carry up to seven passengers.

  • The multipurpose Ka-32A11BC is designed especially for search and rescue and high-rise construction work, transporting cargo inside the fuselage and on an external sling, logging operations, evacuation of the sick and injured, difficult firefighting missions, as well as patrol and special operational support.

  • Light multipurpose helicopter Ka-226T, which is characterized by exceptional accuracy when hovering, excellent manoeuvrability and has large installed power, maximum safety, and undemanding in operation. Improved flight characteristics of the helicopter Ka-226T, the friendliness, efficiency of modern avionics and additional solutions in the field of safety of flight make this helicopter one of the best in its class.
