Vladimir Krasnov, better known as “prankster Vovan”, decided to investigate the situation in Genichesk. He explained that after the New Year, Ukrainian media began to publish fakes that it was him, posing as the mayor of the city, located in Kherson region of Ukraine, who called Putin and asked to deliver the gas.

“I decided to really call Genichesk authorities and find out what is happening there with this gas”, – said Vladimir to TV Zvezda.

He called the office of the mayor of Genichesk, posing as the head of Naftogaz of Ukraine Andrey Kobolev. The mayor was not around, but after a while Krasnov got a call from the head of the administration of Genichesk district, Kherson region Alexander Vorobyev, who told the prankster that the gas was in fact stolen.
