Agence France-Presse writes that the Turkish Prime Minister has accused Russia of operating as “a terrorist organization”. In addition, he announced that he would not allow the capture of the city by Kurdish armed groups, assuring that they will face a “harsh response” if you try to take Azaz.

The Turkish government has also accused Moscow and the Syrian Kurds of blocking humanitarian corridor to Aleppo.

Earlier, on 15th February, information was published about an attack on the hospital, “Doctors without borders” in Idlib province, which killed, according to unconfirmed reports, nine people. Syrian activists also accused Russia of the attack. The President of “Doctors without borders” Mego Terzian said that the attack had a “troops loyal to President Bashar al-Assad”.

The city of Aleppo is under rebel control, where an offensive is taking place with the troops of Assad with the support of the Iranian armed forces and the Russian air force. The Kurds occupy territory near the town of Azaz in the North of the province and are exposed to attacks from Turkish territory. According to Ankara, the attacks are being undertaken in response to the aggression of the Kurds.
