On February 10th, the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Mustafa Dzhemilev, in an interview to RBC-Ukraine, voiced the opinion that currently a full-scale naval blockade of Crimea is not possible due to a lack of resources.
“The naval blockade is a complex issue. A full-scale naval blockade is only possible when there is a sufficient number of military ships. We have no such resources. If, say, there will be a decision of the Security Council, using NATO ships, this is another matter. We have some projects that can paralyze the Kerch Strait, but not many,” – said Dzhemilev.
Earlier, Mustafa Dzhemilev was awarded the order for merits in the struggle against fascism in Russia.
