The Ministry of Defense of the Donetsk People’s Republic reports that over the course of today, punitive units of the Ukrainian Army have opened fire nearly 250 times on the frontline regions of the republic.
“Over the past day, Ukrainian punishers have shelled the territory of the republic 248 times, thereby violating the ceasefire 29 times,” the Ministry of Defense of the DPR reported.
The most intense shillings hit Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk, Elenovka near Donetsk, the village of Zytsevo north of Gorlovka, and the village of Sakhanka in southern Donbass. In addition, the Petrovsky district in the west of the capital has come under UAF fire,” the Ministry of Defense noted.
A representative of the defense department also noted: “Overall, the enemy has fired three tank shells and 59 mortars of 82 and 120 mm calibre. The UAF has also fired from IFV’s using different types of grenade launches and small arms.”
The Ministry of Defense of the DPR has stressed that all data on the violations of Minsk 2 have been relayed to representatives of the Special Monitoring Mission of the OSCE and the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire.
