Ukraine Withdraws Three Helicopters From Liberia for Redeployment in Donbass

Three Mi-24P combat helicopters have returned to Ukraine from Liberia due to the reduction of the UN mission, said the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Saturday, reports RIA Novosti.
“In connection with the reduction of the UN mission in Liberia, there has been an optimization of the 56th separate helicopter detachment, which performed a task in the mission in the country. Thus, a special flight of the transport aircraft AN-124 “Ruslan” returned three Mi-24P combat helicopters to Ukraine,” stated the message.
According to authorities, after the restoration and preventive works carried out by the specialists in parts of the UAF aviation, all three Mi-24P aircraft will be used for training flights and combat missions in the composition of the Air forces of Ukraine, including, if necessary, in the zone of the military operation in Donbass.
