“Hurrah! There is an avenue of Stepan Bandera in Kiev (instead of Moscow)! “For” – 87 of 97 attendees. Against – no one. Glory To Ukraine!” wrote Sirotyuk on his page on Facebook.

Deputies also renamed the Kutuzov Street in the General Almazov street, Kutuzov lane into Evgeny Gutsalo lane, Suvorov Street to Mykhailo Omelianovych-Pavlenko street, Bauman Street to Janusz Korczak street.

“It still remains to pressure to obtain Shukhevych Avenue,” said Sirotyuk.

As was reported by Korrespondent, it was proposed to rename Kiev’s Vatutin Avenue to Shukhevych Avenue.
