Over the past few days, the Syrian Army has made tremendous strides in Aleppo, leaving the terrorists on the verge of defeat.
Last night, this morning, and in the afternoon, Syrian Arab Army fighters took control of the strategically important Bani Zeid, Ashrafiya, and Layramoun districts which militants have held for around 4 years. The political department of the Syrian Arab Army has published the first footage from these liberated areas.
The army is now continuing its offensive and battling with militants for the city block of Daret-Abdrabba. If the terrorists from the Islamic coalition “Jaish al-Fatah” under the leadership of “Jebat al-Nusra” leave the area, then government forces will be able to completely secure their poisons in the Layramoun district.
As Russian Spring has already reported, Russia and Syria have begun their large-scale operation in Aleppo. Safe corridors are being provided for the civilians formally captured by gangs in the eastern districts of the city to be evacuated to the districts free from hostilities.
Russian military aircraft have provided essential support to ground forces by dealing massive blows to the international Al-Nusra Front terrorists.
Update: Ashrafiya district taken
Since taking the important region of Bani Zeid under control, the elite 4th mechanized division of the Syrian Arab Army, supported by fighters from the Republican Guard and the National Defense Forces militia, has captured the remaining part of the Aleppo district of Ashfariya. The militants have fled the battlefield.
The victory of Syrian armed forces was possible following the capture of the important blocks in Layramoun and Bani Zeid, including a complex of student dormitories.
Kurdish militia of the “People’s Protection Units” (YPG) have played a crucial role in the battle by keeping terrorists pinned to the ground by artillery fire when they attempted to strengthen their positions near the district of Sheikh Maqsoud.
The battle for Aleppo continues.
