It seems that the US administration hasn’t watch its own cartoon “Kung Fu Panda.” In one part of the film, the wise master Oogway says: “One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it.”
The American establishment is acting this way – through their actions aimed at clinging to hegemony, they are only hurting themselves. In the pursuit of short-term strategies, they are killing their own long term tools of influence.
In ducking under the UN and, in fact, blocking its normal work, they has turned it into a complete opposite of the League of Nations, one which is doomed to disband.
By forcing the Europeans to suffer from anti-Russian sanctions, the US is reinforcing Europe’s desire for sovereignty from US “partnership”.
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) circus has discredited the very idea of the Olympic Games. By staging a “re-run” for the American runner who lost the baton, they angered the Chinese as well.
In fact, as some functionaries of the International Olympic Committee told «Reuters» (at least three members of the committee have confirmed this), US authorities’ pressure on the IOC reduces the chances of Los Angeles hosting the Olympics in 2024.
Disqualifying the Russian Paralympic team crossed the line. Cashing in on defenseless persons with disabilities for the sake of imperial ambitions… is vile. The world (and including “progressive humanity”) have become convinced that there are no lows to which those nasty Americans won’t go.
As a result, pro-Western political forces in the likes of Yalobko and Parnas will lose much of their already meager support….
Plus, as reported by our news agency, China has proposed to hold an alternative Paralympic Games in Russia and said that it is willing to send their team there instead of Rio since, as has been repeatedly seen, there is no objective judging at these “Olympics.”
The tyranny perpetrated by the Americans is only leading to a strengthening of cooperation between Russia and China, giving them additional reasons to “be friends against” US aggression.
The Americans, driven into a corner by massive debt and China’s growing technological and economic advantage, are now making the classic mistake that Hitler did in waging war on two fronts (and, if we consider recent statements on Iran, then three) at the same time. This never leads to anything good.
Well, thanks to their cheating, the Americans “won” the Olympics, but they are losing the race for hegemony. We can be quite satisfied with such a result.
