Amidst a relative reduction in the number of UAF bombardments, there has been a marked intensification of Ukrainian special forces operations sabotaging vital infrastructure in the republics. This was reported to journalists today by the deputy head of the people’s militia of the DPR, Eduard Basurin.

He stated: “Yesterday, as a result of sabotage on the front line carried out by Ukrainian special forces, the main lines of MTS and Feniks cell services were cut in the Petrovsk, Kuibyshev, and Voroshilov districts of Donetsk city and the residential areas of Elenovka and Dokuchaevsk.”

“Thus, the military-political leadership of Ukraine is deliberately pursuing a policy of escalating the situation in Donbass, bringing in special operation forces to destroy vital infrastructure,” Basurin remarked.

The People’s Militia representative also announced the latest data on UAF vehicle movement near the contact line prohibited by the Minsk Agreements. According to DPR intelligence, three RS30 Grad’s were identified in the Novgorod residential area (6 km from the contact line). In Novotroitsk (also 6 km from the contact line) the arrival of four 120mm mortars was noted, and in Konstantinovka (25 km from the contact line), the arrival of 9 units of 122 mm “Hyacinth” self-propelled howitzers was recorded.

Work by enemy drones carried out to adjust artillery units’ fire and take pictures of civilian infrastructure has also been recorded.
