Ukrainian Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman, expressed an interest in the idea of construction of the country’s electricity storage system, proposed by the founder and CEO of Tesla, billionaire Elon Musk on the Ukrainian government’s facebook page.

Musk has previously promised residents of South Australia to help the authorities of the state to solve the problem of producing electricity for 100 days from the date of signing the contract, otherwise he will provide them with use of a free energy storage system using batteries with 100 megawatt-hours, the Guardian wrote.

According to the Ukrainian minister, the head of Tesla, such a project can be implemented in Ukraine easily. Groisman thanked the entrepreneur and expressed his willingness to cooperate.

“Thank you, it is a very interesting idea that Ukraine wants to become a testing ground for innovation – Let’s talk more about it.”, The Prime minister wrote on his twitter.

At the end of January in Kiev extremists blocked trade with the areas beyond the control of the Poroshenko regime, where the Ukrainian coal plant is stationed. These actions have led to the fact that the government introduced emergency measures in the energy sector with the possibility of rolling blackouts.
