Ukrainian Army Helicopter Crashes

Ukrainian military confirmed on March 26th that an MI-2 military helicopter crashed near the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast, located some 700 kilometers southeast of Kyiv.

According to the statement from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, the helicopter crashed at around 3 p.m., after hitting an electricity transmission line.

Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, a spokesman for the military, said three crew members and two passengers were on board at the time of the crash.
