Around 60% of the Ukrainian population lives below the official poverty line, as reported by Neil Walker, permanent representative for the Development of the Ukraine at the UN.

Walker presented the UN Development report, stating that it contains “all the necessary information which could be used to develop the country, given its specific context. This is 1.7 million internally displaced persons, 2.8 million with a disability, and 60% of the population living below the poverty line.”
