Syrian President Bashar Assad said in an interview with RIA Novosti, that Damascus has information about the plans of Jordan to send troops to the South to Syria in coordination with the United States.

“Jordan was part of US plans from the very beginning of the war in Syria. Whether they like it or not, they have to obey the orders of the Americans. Jordan is not an independent country. What the Americans want, is what will happen. So, if the Americans want to use the Northern part of the Jordan against Syria, then they will use it.”

So in this case, we are not discussing Jordan as a nation, we are discussing Jordan as a territory. The United States has determined plans, it has determine the players, and it has determined those who support Jordanian initiative on Syria; there are many terrorists who had come from Jordan and, of course, from Turkey, from the first day of the war in Syria”- said Assad.
