Syria: Battles in the Surrounding Areas of Palmyra, Damascus and Daraa Continue

Intense operations against Al Nusra Front terrorists and their allies in Daraa Al Balad area of Daraa province, are continuing.

According to the field reports, several terrorist positions in the neighborhood of Al Sad Road, Al Nazihin camp and south of Khazan Karak, were destroyed and resulted in the killing of scores of terrorists.

The army also thwarted an infiltration attempt by the allies of Al Nusra Front on one of its military posts in Al Manshia neighborhood and killed a number of terrorists, in addition to destruction of 3 machine-gun-equipped vehicles and a rocket launcher in Daraa Al Balad area.

The terrorists keep shelling residential areas of Darra. On Tuesday afternoon, two female residents were injured after the terrorists shelled Al Sahari neighbourhood in Daraa. They also harmed civilians when they launched Grad rockets at the town of Al Nubl, located in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

In the meantime, the army continued to destroy ISIS gatherings in the area of Jarf Um Al Ruman, Fathet Al Mahsa, located east of Palmyra and in Al Barda, located east of Qaryatain in the southern countryside of Homs province.

New gains were also made in the Damascene district of Qaboun as the Syrian Army took control of several builds, previously occupied by terrorists.

11 members of the terrorist group Hayt Tahrir Al Sham and 6 members of Faylak al Sham were killed when Syrian Army detonated a tunnel in the district of Qaboun.
