Syrian Foreign and Expat Ministry condemned another illegal incursion into Syrian territory, yesterday carried out by Erdogan regime in the province of Hasakeh.

According to an official source at the Syrian Foreign and Expat Ministry, “The Syrian Arab Republic condemns, in the strongest terms, a new blatant aggression made by the Turkish regime on 25.04.2017, when the Turkish warplanes bombed sites in north-eastern Syria and what resulted in the deaths of dozens of innocent civilians. In addition, Syrian Arab Republic acknowledges the Turkish aggression as being contrary to international law, the Charter of the United Nations and the principles of good neighborliness as it harms the sovereignty and unity of the land and its people,” noting that “Syrian Arab Republic calls on the international community and the United Nations to condemn this aggression and all policies of Turkish regime, aimed at supporting terrorism. ”

Yesterday, fighter jets belonging to the Erdogan regime, bombed sites in Syria’s north-eastern Hasakeh province, which resulted in several civilian casualties, done under false pretext of fighting terrorism in Syria.

It is noteworthy that the Erdogan regime wants to help ISIS so that the latter can inflict as much as damage as possible on positions of the Kurdish PYD movement, operating in the area. At the same time, Ankara is trying to provide help to its proxy groups, particularly the notorious terrorist group Ahrar Al Sham.

Since August 2016, Erdogan regime has been making illegal incursions into Syrian territory, often to help the terrorist groups, fighting against the Syrian Army.
