At least 80 terrorists were killed in renewed clashes between the terrorist groups Jaysh Al Islam on one side and Al Rahman Brigade and Al Nusra Front on the other, in the embattled Eastern Ghouta district of the Syrian capital city of Damascus.

According to the field reports, clashes, that also claimed several civilians lives, reportedly broke out on Monday morning.

For its part, the London-based and jihadists-linked Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, reported that more than 70 fighters were shot during the clashes, confirming deaths of at least 5 terrorists from Jaysh Al Islam and even two terrorists from Joulani’s Tahrir Al Sham, one of them having the rank of an “emir”.

Hamza Biraqdar, spokesman for the terrorist group Jaysh Al Islam, said Al Nusra Front terrorists tried to invade Jaysh Al Islam positions, however, the latter immediately responded, adding his group did everything to avoid any confrontation with Al Rahman Brigade, the allies of Al Nusra Front. However, Al Rahman Brigade leadership said their units also came under fire of Jaysh Al Islam.

Meanwhile, Syrian Army officially confirmed the complete liberation of the embattled Damascene district of Qaboun, which formerly acted as the fortress of the terrorists that would frequently fire rockets and mortars at residential areas of Damascus, adding that all of the remaining parts of Damascus countryside will soon be liberated.
