Another “Black Thursday” for ISIS in Syria

Syrian forces made new series of progress against ISIS all over country on Thursday.

In the eastern countryside of Homs province, army units targeted ISIS positions in the villages of Manoukh, Abu Taraha, Khan Al Ssera, Unq Al Hawa, Abu Al Tabbabir, Jeb Habel and Ghunaimat, east of Al Mustadira Mountains and of Jeb Al jarrah.

Scores of ISIS terrorists were killed during intense air and artillery strikes, in addition to destruction of many of their vehicles and cars, some of them equipped with machine-guns and cannons.

In the eastern countryside of Hama province, Syrian Army continued its military operations by launching a series of intense air and artillery strikes, targeting ISIS positions east of the town of Salamiyeh.

Dozens of ISIS terrorists were killed and their equipment destroyed when their positions were raided in Al Barghouthiyeh, Arshouneh, Abu Habilat,Um Mil, Akash and Tabbaret Al Dibeh.

Military sources claim all ISIS infiltration attempts were successfully thwarted, in addition to cutting ISIS supply routes in direction of Al Shaer area and Jib Al Jarrah in the eastern countryside of Homs province.

Meanwhile, Syrian Air Force carried out series of special operations in the ISIS-occupied areas in the Syrian Desert, hitting ISIS gatherings and movements in Al Mouhandseen, Al Makabbat Al Thurdah Mountain, Sater Al Islah, Al Hadi, Hweijet Saker and the villages of Hweijet Al Mareiaieh and Al Bghailieh, destroying several vehicles and barricades and killing a bunch of terrorists.

New progress was also reported from the province of Deir Ez Zour where army units pounded ISIS positions next to Euphrates river crossing and in the vicinity of Open Heart hospital in Deir Ez Zour city.

More than 50 ISIS terrorists were killed during a series of air and artillery strikes, in addition to destruction of a boat, a heavy machine-gun and two vehicles, one of them equipped with a cannon.

Air Force units were also dropping first aid packages, provided by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
