Terrorist group ISIS has claimed responsibility for Saturday night’s terror attack on London Bridge that claimed the lives of 7 people and left 48 others injured.

In a statement, published on one of its social networking sites, the terrorist group said its fighters from London were behind the attack.

According to the British Metropolitan Police, the attack began with terrorists ramming a white van into pedestrians on London Bridge.

After their van crashed outside the Barrow Boy and Banker pub on Borough High Street, all three attackers, wearing fake suicide belts, ran out of the van and headed towards to Borough Market, where they stabbed four people with knives.

The attack is also notorious for the fact that civilians had to protected themselves by throwing stools and chairs at terrorists, after policemen who were dispatched to the scene suddenly started running away, thus forcing civilians to take the matter into their own hands.

All terrorists were later shot dead by the police.

Meanwhile, the British Prime Minister Theresa May called for tougher efforts to be made as regards curbing the online extremism as worldwide web is believed to be the meeting point for most of the terrorists.

In is noteworthy that not long ago May went to Saudi Arabia in order to sign arms contracts worth hundreds of millions.

Saudi Arabia is also financing some of the most controversial British mosques, known for indoctrinating several ISIS terrorists.
