The deputy governor of the Kursk Region, Vasily Zubkov, is suspected of receiving bribes in the form of property for 1 million rubles (around $18,000 USD), for assistance in the unlawful commissioning of an apartment block by developers. A criminal case has been started.
As reported by “Interfax”, the official representative of the Investigative Committee, Svetlana Petrenko, states that Zubkov is suspected of taking bribes, and his partners – depending on the role of each – in the mediation in bribery, and complicity to bribery.
