Strategic unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the US Air Force RQ-4A Global Hawk, taking off Tuesday from Italy, undertook a reconnaissance flight for many hours near the borders of St Petersburg and Pskov regions, according to a military aircraft tracking source.
The US drone, which left from an airbase in Sicily in the Mediterranean, flew over the territories of France and Germany, cruising to the Russian border in the Gulf of Finland, in the airspace of Estonia.
This UAV has been repeatedly used in the current year for exploration areas near Donetsk and Lugansk. In addition, it was used for the application of air strikes on ISIS targets in Libya.
