Social networking site Twitter has suspended the official page, belonging to Al Jazeera Arabic.
The move is nothing surprising, given that Saudi Prince Waleed bin Talal is Twitter’s second largest shareholder and owns 34.9 million shares of its common stock, in addition to his country currently being involved in a diplomatic row with Qatar, a country whose regime stands behind Al Jazeera Network.
Until this very month, Qatar and Saudi Arabia were staunch allies in their support of terrorist groups, fighting against the Syrian Army.
Not long ago, however, tensions broke out after Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates accused Qatar of meddling in their internal affairs and providing support for terrorist groups.
It is noteworthy that, while under the Saudi blessing, Al Jazeera and its blatant fake propaganda, played a rather instrumental role in destroying Syria, with some of its anchors even openly calling for extermination of certain minority groups in Syria.
