June 27th, 2017 – Fort Russ News –
The Ukrainian army has used the truce in the Donbass to start a large-scale regrouping of forces and resources in the conflict zone. This was stated by deputy commander of the operational command of the DPR, Eduard Basurin.
“The current situation on the contact line leads to the conclusion that under the guise of the truce, the Ukrainian security forces are amassing units in Donetsk and Mariupol, positioning prohibited weapons” – he said.
Eduard Basurin said that in the north of Mariupol, in the village of Zaria (19 km from the frontline) 12 howitzers “Acacia” have been airlifted in.
To the south of Donetsk, in Vladimirovka village, (16 km from the frontline), personnel and heavy weapons arrived by train, including MLRS BM-21 “Grad”, and nearby, under Volnovaha – wagons with ammunition for tanks, shells, powder charges and shells for 122 and 152 mm tube artillery. From Avdeyevka, a column of 28 tanks was moving to the site of the already positioned battalion “Kharkiv”.
“A group of around 50 US and Canadian instructors have arrived to Konstantinovka. According to reports, the group of foreign experts in the near future plans to work in the area of Mariupol also.” – Eduard Basurin added.
