In the past month, the coalition jets struck the civilian areas multiple times. Only in the last week of June, 90 civilians, majority of them being women and children, were killed.

On the 4th of July, the raids on the village of Kishik Zyyanat, that claimed the lives of 9 civilians, belonging to a single family, were even conducted in conjunction with ISIS attacks on the village.

The coalition has also admitted to have used the bombs, containing the internationally prohibited white phosphorus, during the raids on the western outskirts of the city of Raqqah on June 9th that claimed the lives of 19 civilians.
