They say copying is the highest form of flattery…

Based on the results of an investigation, 25 managers of public enterprises in the Ukrainian defense industry have been dismissed on charges of corruption.

This was stated by Petro Poroshenko at the Lvov armour plant.

“We have prevented the potential theft of 631 million Ukrainian hryvna. As Commander in Chief and the President of Ukraine, I will not let anyone rob the army and will not allow anyone to ‘warm their hands’ on the supplies to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, “- Poroshenko said.

President Putin is known for publicly firing corrupt officials, which works in favour of his popularity among the public. The difference is that Russia’s president enjoys an overwhelmingly high public support anyway, which is not something the Poroshenko regime can claim in the Ukraine.
