July 25, 2017 – Fort Russ News –
It is reported that several natives of Chechnya attacked an 18-year-old Syrian national with a baseball bat this Monday in Austria.
According to media reports, an attack was carried out on an 18-year-old Iraqi national in another location, on the same day, who received three stab wounds. The police believe that the reason for both acts of violence is revenge for an attack on two young Russian nationals in a local night club, which was committed a day earlier.
Law enforcement authorities detained one 26-year-old Russian national, who still had a baseball bat. In total, around 8 people of Chechen origin are said to be implicated in the revenge beatings.
The detainee’s testimony allowed the police to tie the stabbing at the club on Sunday to the two attacks on the Middle Easterners on Monday.
Victims from both sides have been hospitalised.
