Donetsk intelligence agencies have prevented an act of terrorism, organized by Ukrainian saboteurs. This was stated by the deputy commander of the operational command Eduard Basurin.

“Today, thanks to the vigilance of our citizens in the city of Donetsk, we prevented a terrorist act of Ukrainian special services. At 9 o’clock in the morning, local people had spotted was turned out to be an explosive device with a remote control, which has now been diffused.”

Presumably, the explosive device was supposed to go off that morning. Basurin said that the attack was planned on the eve of the Minsk talks on July 5 and on the eve of the meeting the leaders of the G20.

“This is not the only terrorist attack planned by Ukrainian special services on the eve of the G20 meeting. We have confirmation that the Ukrainian authorities have been instructed to carry these out in the period up to July 9, including on the territory controlled by Ukrainian forces, with the purpose to discrediting the leadership of the DPR” – he said.
