Following yesterday’s decisive victory of the terrorist group Hay’at Tahrir Al Sham in the northwestern Syrian province of Idleb, which saw the expulsion of Erdogan regime-backed Ahrar Al Sham terrorists, the Turkish Erdogan regime rushed to close Kherbet Al Joz border crossing, after its Syrian side became overran with Tahrir Al Sham terrorists.

This happens after the Erdogan regime already closed the Bab Al Hawa border crossing, which was seized by Tahrir Al Sham yesterday.

According to some local sources in Idleb, the main reason for the outbreak of fighting between the Joulani (Al Nusra Front)’s Tahrir Al Sham and the Erdogan regime-backed Ahrar Al Sham reportedly was Tahrir’s desire to take control of the border crossings in Idleb province.

The sources explained that the main reason for the desire of Tahrir Al Sham to control the border crossings was to prevent the regime in Ankara to further increase its influence over the loyal groups, namely Ahrar Al Sham whom the Erdogan regime reportedly wanted to put in charge of the Idleb province.

The border crossing areas are also filled with valuable materials, previously addressed to Ahrar Al Sham terrorists and which will certainly come in handy for Tahrir Al Sham terrorists.

Yesterday’s “triumph” of Tahrir, however, closes Erdogan regime’s access into Idleb province, meaning that, at least for the time being, it won’t be able to provide its allies with financial, food, medical and military resources.

Tahrir Al Sham’s new major victory was achieved after taking entire control of the city of Idleb, following the expulsion of the last Ahrar Al Sham terrorists.

The latter, however, started to plot their revenge soon afterwards.

Yesterday, a huge car bombing rocked the city of Idleb. Several of Tahrir Al Sham’s vehicles and other assets were destroyed, in addition to more than 20 terrorists being killed.

As a result, Tahrir Al Sham today executed two men who were reportedly linked to the attack.

Tahrir Al Sham’s victory also eases up things for the Syrian Army as it opens a new front, where the so-called Syrian “opposition” and various ceasefire agreements no longer pose any obstacles for the full-scale military campaigns.
