Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has reacted to Mikhail Saakashvili’s loss of Ukrainian citizenship. The Russian politician described the situation as “a fantasy tragi-comedy.”
Dmitry Medvedev, commenting on the situation with Saakashvili, said that the Georgian-Ukrainian politician had an “amazing” fate.
“A citizen of Georgia, the President of Georgia, a person deprived of Georgian citizenship – a citizen of Ukraine, a friend of the President of Ukraine, a governor of the Odessa region, a person deprived of Ukrainian citizenship” – wrote the Russian prime minister on his Facebook page.

He was also surprised by the “consistency” of Kiev.
“All this is indisputable evidence of the highest moral qualities of two people who played this fantastic tragicomedy. Show must go on!”
