At least 2 people were killed and 11 were left wounded (2 of them are in critical condition), after a huge explosion ripped through the western bus station in the Syrian Hama city on Thursday.

The blast, carried out by a suicide bomber, claimed the lives of two female citizens that were reportedly leaving for the town of Masyaf.

According to police sources, two explosive devices were later found at the scene and have since been defused by the engineering units.

The bombing caused huge material damage to the entrance of the bus station and the parked buses, as well as the nearby mosque.

Meanwhile, reports came that terrorists once again breached the ceasefire agreement, by targeting residential areas in the southwestern Syrian province of Daraa.

Earlier on Thursday, several shells landed in Al Kashef neighborhood in Daraa city, after being fired by Tahrir Al Sham/Al Nusra Front terrorists, stationed in Daraa Al Balad area.

Although no casualties were reported, several public and private properties sustained material damage.
