Units of the Syrian Army and its allies have carried out new batch of operations throughout Syria on Sunday.

In the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour, an ISIS infiltration attempt was foiled.

According to the field reports, fierce clashes with ISIS-affiliated groups broke out, after some of their members were trying to attack military checkpoints in the surrounding areas of the village of Maksar Al Husan, located in the eastern countryside of the province.

More than 40 terrorists were killed in the clashes and many more others were left injured, while the remaining ones fled, leaving their weapons and ammunition behind.

Meanwhile in the countryside of Hama province, army units foiled an attack, carried out in the early hours of Sunday morning by Tahrir Al Sham/Al Nusra Front terrorists on Al Zara Power Station.

Military sources claim the terrorists came from the direction of Herr Benafsoh, located in the southern countryside of the province.

Scores of the terrorists were left dead or injured in the operation, in addition to their weapons and equipment.
