In the Syrian province of Idlib, one ISIS leader named Lavdir Muhajir, also known as Abu Abdullah al-Kosovar (originates from Albanian-Kosovo), nicknamed “the Butcher.” According to journalists, the terrorist was killed during a joint operation of Russia and Syrian ‘Tiger’ army units. According to preliminary data, his six guards and 20 ISIS fighters have also been eliminated.
Al- Kosovar in 2014 almost immediately earned the nickname “the butcher”. It was given to him after the publication of propaganda movies with his participation, where he executed civilians, including a teenager, and the Syrian military. In early 2017 it was reported that the terrorist could have left Syria and returned to his homeland in Kosovo. The information was confirmed when in May of this year, he returned to Syria.
According to the publication, the chairman of the Islamic religious community in the Kosovo has expressed regret over the death of the terrorist and sent his family sympathies.
