The Human Rights Commissioner of the DPR, Daria Morozova, held talks with the chairman of the Monitoring Mission of the UN on Human Rights in Ukraine, Fiona Fraser.

“During the meeting the parties discussed the issues of missing persons, victims of torture Ukrainian security officials, as well as the exchange of prisoners of war”, – said the press-service.

It is noted that Fraser had been handed documents “indicating the use of illegal methods of inquiry on the part of representatives of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.”

As for the search for missing persons, emphasis was made on the need for cooperation and collaboration with the Ukrainian side in the exchange of DNA banks, in order to identify the bodies.

Reminder that on 6 July in Minsk, the Ukrainian representatives thwarted the planned discussion on the exchange of prisoners, and expressed reluctance to comply with their obligations. Donbass representatives were forced to leave the working session.
